The current COVID-19 pandemic is a challenging time for everyone.
Rachael's Rovers has and will continue to do everything we can to adapt and work with the situation safely and appropriately. It is our heart to continue to provide exceptional Care for all of our clients during this time. Our decision to continue offering Care during this time is a great responsibility that we do not take lightly; Below is our current available services and health / safety precautions.

CARE PARTNER HEALTH SAFETY PRACTICES
Our Care Partners have been taking extra precautionary health and safety measures during this time. All Care Partners providing service; have not travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days; have not experienced symptoms of cough, loss of breath, nausea, fatigue, headaches, fever, body aches in the last 21 days; and have not knowingly come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
CLIENT HEALTH SAFETY PRACTICES
To ensure the safety of our Care Partners and other clients we ask that clients refrain from booking service if they or anyone in their household; has travelled outside of Canada; has experienced symptoms of cough, loss of breath, nausea, fatigue, headaches, fever, body aches in the last 14 days; has been or possibly has been exposed to or come into contact with someone with COVID-19.
*Exception given to our clients who are health care workers. Please contact me for further discussion should you need.*
**Any cancellations resulting from the pursuit of these precautionary measures will not fall under our cancellation policy.**
SERVICE HEALTH SAFETY PRACTICES
MEET & GREETS : At this time, when possible, we request Meet and Greets take place outside, socially distanced in front of your home. Masks are mandatory and must be worn for the entire Meet and Greet.
WALKS : Care Partners will be washing their hands upon the arrival and departure of each Care visit. Care Partners will be practicing social distancing during Walks and have been instructed to not let anyone other then themselves touch the dog(s). Dogs on leash will not be introduced to other dogs they may come across during Walks. Care Partners have the choice of wearing disposable gloves and face masks.
Clients have been asked to leave pet(s) leash, harness and poop bags in entrance for easy access upon arrival. Clients are expected to sanitize all door handles and light switches Care Partner may come into contact with before our Care visits. We also ask that leashes and harnesses are sanitized/wiped down as best as possible before each visit. If client is home during our visit we ask you respect current social distancing measures.
DROP INS : Care Partners will be washing their hands upon the arrival and departure of each Care visit. If possible Care Partners will be conducting all Drop In visits outside in clients gated backyard area. If client does not have a gate backyard Care Partners are to limit their contact within the home as much as possible (only sitting on one chair, not touching surfaces, etc). Care Partners have the choice of wearing disposable gloves and face masks.
Clients have been asked to leave all Drop In related items in entrance for easy access (leash, toys, harness, treats, etc). Clients are expected to sanitize all door handles and light switches Care Partner may come into contact with before our Care visits. We also ask that all Drop in related items are sanitized/wiped down as best as possible before each visit.
PUPPY PLAY DATES : Upon arrival for drop offs and pick ups please call Rachael before coming to the door. Please refrain from bringing toys and treats during this time. All harnesses and leashes will need to be sanitized before Drop off. We will be practicing social distancing during our Walks and no other dogs or people will be invited to interact with client's pet. Toys will be provided by Rachael and will be sanitized between Playdates.
HOUSE SITTING: We ask that all clients thoroughly sanitize and clean all major area's surfaces, floors, handles, light switches and kitchen appliances. Please ensure your bathroom has been thoroughly cleaned as well. We ask that bedding be freshly washed before our arrival. Please leave all pet Care related items out for easy access (Leash, harness, food, toys, etc). Rachael's Rovers will be washing bedding, sanitizing all surfaces, and cleaning used spaces before our departure.
